Rising out of Central Kentucky comes a band to be experienced and a musical force to be reckoned with... four guys collectively known as Wisdoms Call!  This Christian rock band, started in June of 2006 in Elizabethtown, KY, has a unique sound that sets its own personality.  With their versatility they set the stage to get their message out to a wide audience.  Band members Pete DiPietro (Lead Vocals and Bass Guitar), Jake Allen (Lead Guitar and Background Vocals), Patrick Small (Rhythm Guitar), and Tracey Poddam (Drums) deliver a positive message backed by their own brand of hard rock/heavy metal/melodic style of music.  The focus and heartbeat of Wisdoms Call is to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, get the lost saved, the hurting healed, and to relight the fire in the lives of many Christians who have fallen away.  Through their lyrics they strive to inspire and encourage their listeners to achieve things they never thought were possible, to open their eyes to see the potential that lies inside each and every one of us, and challenge them to search their hearts and examine their lives before God to live to a higher standard.

    This band  is set apart from others due not only to their musical abilies in writing the music but also in the lyrics conveyed in every song through strong, clear vocals.  There is no misunderstanding the message!  Excellent guitar solos that combine speed and melody, the grooving bass lines, the pummeling double kick action of the drums, and the vocals that range from melodic singing to brutal screams pull it all together for one amazing, one of a kind sound!  Their original music is inspired first and most importantly by Jesus Christ and then by personal life experiences.  The lyrics, inspired by life experiences, draw the listener in because they can relate to the message, therefore, making it possible for them to open their hearts and receive the message. Other lyrics give a deeper understanding to the freedom that is in Christ from addictions, struggles, and sin, and to know the heart and love that God has for them.   

         The band name,” Wisdoms Call”, comes from Proverbs 8:1-14 in the NIV under the heading “Wisdom’s Call”.  The following is the explanation to help understand the scriptures meaning and relating it to the bands visionary statement.  "Wisdoms Call is calling out into the earth to give guidance, understanding, knowledge, council, discretion, instruction and direction of God and into the things of God.  To speak forth what is right, just and true, to detest wickedness, to lead people in the way and righteousness of God through Godly living and to lead them to salvation in Jesus Christ."       

     Although the road has not always been easy for these 4 men, their strong character and determination to pursue excellence and reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ have enabled them to push on.  They all knew that God had a calling and plan for their lives in ministry through music.  Through their prayers, faith and patience to wait on the Lord they finally came together to form Wisdoms Call.  Pete, Jake, and Tracey are married with children and they have to juggle their jobs, family time and their ministry.  On many occasions with only 2 -3 hours of sleep you will find them traveling to their next gig with strong determination to spread their spiritual message through their music.  Knowing the calling that the Lord has on each one of their lives and their desire to do this ministry full time, their families fully understand and support them in that endeavor to see it fulfilled.
