Wisdoms Call took first place at their first battle in "The Battle For Christ" held in Sweetwater, TN. This outstanding performance led them to the semi-finals where they again placed first. Following suit, they took first place in the "Final Battle", leading the 47 other bands that entered.

Wisdoms Call placed 1st in the Battle For Christ in Tennessee,earning themselves a spot to perform in the Ascenxion Scout Project ,and on the Deep End Stage at the Ichthus Festival, 2009. They place 3rdin the Ichthus competition, earning them another spot on the EdgeStage. All in all, the band performed 3 times at the Festival, turningheads at every point.
